TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR Woodford Wonderful Race COMPETITION (THE “F27 Woodford Reserve Wonderful Race”)

1. QUALIFICATIONS

You must be aged 21 and over and be actively employed as a bartender in South Korea responsible for producing alcoholic cocktails (drinks with three or more ingredients at least one of which is alcohol) within South Korea.
Entry is open from 12:00 AM on the 27th of February until 11:59 PM on the 15th of March. No responsibility is accepted for any entry that is not delivered or is delayed due to technical reasons. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.

2. RESPONSIBILITY

The Promoter supports responsible drinking and adheres to all marketing codes applicable to alcoholic beverages, therefore any entries which the Promoter deems to encourage or be suggestive of irresponsible drinking or irresponsible behaviour, or which might in the Promoter’s judgement constitute a contravention of any applicable marketing law or code will be ineligible. Furthermore, any entry that is considered lewd, obscene or distasteful in the sole opinion of the Promoter, will not be eligible.
Do not include trademarks or logos owned by others unless you have permission.
All entrants must, for the duration of the Competition, conduct themselves consistently with the promotion of responsible drinking behaviours.

3. ENTRY MECHANISM

In order to qualify for entry entrants must submit;
1. their personal details;
2. the story behind their drink recipe; and
3. their original cocktail recipe (with unlimited ingredient amount permitted) with an associated video of your cocktail (which conforms to the Cocktail Recipe Requirements detailed below).

The original cocktail recipe (“Cocktail Recipe Requirements”) has the following instructions that entrants must adhere to:
1. The cocktail receipt must contain and be based on Woodford Reserve Whiskey: and within the Brown Forman’s portfolio in the Competition.
2. Entrants are allowed homemade ingredients, but must be aware that if successful they will need to be able to reproduce the homemade ingredients in volume, on the day of the takeover in Final Competition (which forms part of the overall prize detailed below in Clause 5), and with locally available produce in South Korea. These ingredients (and all ingredients used) must be food safe.
3. The maximum quantity of alcohol permitted is the equivalent of 50ml of alcohol at 40% ABV.
4. All ingredients must be specified in millimetres or centilitres divided into “whole numbers” (1,2,3, etc) and/or “half numbers” (½, 1½, etc), and/or smallest quantities (dashes and/or drops). The ingredients have to be measured out using a jigger.
5. Cocktail decoration should be composed of edible and food safe ingredients, such as fruit, herbs and vegetables.
Recipes not in accordance with the above requirements will be rejected.

4. COCKTAIL COMPETITION JUDGING

The cocktail recipe submitted by each entrant will be judged by three local judges selected by Brown Forman Korea.
The judges will pick 1st, 2nd, and Final round of winners of their favourite cocktail recipes out of those qualifying entries under the Entry Mechanism based on how well the recipe and the story demonstrates the brief of Woodford Reserve Wonderful Race and notify those shortlisted finalists by the 1st round 3/15, 2nd Round 4/13, Final Winner on 5/4 via email or in person.
The three judges selected by Brown Forman Korea will hold a competition for the finalists on 5/4. Finalists will be expected to prepare their cocktail recipe for the judges and for consumers (consumers will not have the opportunity to judge cocktails, but only consume/taste) who will have the opportunity to taste their cocktail recipe and rate the cocktail recipe again on the same criteria as mentioned above in clause 4.2 as well as the overall experience delivered by their team over the two nights of the competition.
Judges will pick their favourite recipe experience based on the criteria mentioned above in Clause.

5. THE PRIZE

The winner of race from Korea will earn ticket to participate in Wonderful Race Asia Final (which is expected at Hongkong in Jun. 2026)
The winner of race from Korea will earn a champion Ring prepared by Brown Forman Korea that is worth about USD 300
The winner of race from Korea will earn trip to Woodford Reserve Distillery Tour in USA
The prize consists of a trip for the Grand Prize Winner to Versailles, Kentucky, United States to visit the Woodford Reserve Distillery. The prize includes return flights from Incheon airport, Republic of Korea to the United States airport, and hotel accommodation for 3 nights. The prize winners must hold valid passports with 6 months' validity remaining. The prize winner must also comply with immigration requirements for entry into the United States of America and must not have a criminal record/any unspent convictions. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to arrange any necessary visas to enter the United States of America, including any ESTA visas as may be required.
Any amendments to or cancellation of the trip made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges, which will be the responsibility of the prize winner. The Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner, should the original main prize winner not validate their identity and age within 2 days of having been notified by the Promoter as the prize winner.
The winner will need to provide satisfactory evidence that they are aged 21 years or over. The minimum legal age for the purchase of alcohol in the USA is 21. As a US producer of alcoholic beverages, the Promoter has determined that it will not sponsor, directly or indirectly, travel to the USA for any individual who has not yet attained the age of 21

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All entrants acknowledge and agree that all intellectual property rights, including copyright, in all cocktail recipe entries, shall be assigned to and become the property of the Promoter, which thereafter has the right to edit, re-edit, adapt, modify, reproduce, promote, create derivative works and otherwise use the winning entry in any way it sees fit. The Promoter will retain rights to the use of all submitted entries, names and videos and may use them for the purposes of advertising and promotion.

7. DATA PROTECTION

You acknowledge that Brown-Forman Corporation (BROWN-FORMAN) and other companies within the BROWN-FORMAN group (details of which are available on request) or BROWN-FORMAN's agents, partners or licensees, will handle your personal information, in accordance with the BROWN-FORMAN privacy policy https://legal.brown-forman.com/privacy-policy/english, for legitimate business purposes such as to provide you with personalized services and content, to analyze and consider ways of improving our services and products, and to respond to your requests. Your personal information may be transferred to any country where BROWN-FORMAN group companies or our service providers have facilities and personal information will be retained as permitted by applicable law. If in the future, you do not wish to receive further communications from the BROWN-FORMAN group and would prefer to be removed from its database, or if you wish to make corrections to your details or change how you receive communications from us, please write to: [email protected]

8. OTHER

By entering the Competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules. The decision of the Promoter in all matters is final and no correspondence will be entered into. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
