Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. You must be at least 21 years of age and a legal resident of the United States, residing in Kentucky to participate. Sweepstakes void where prohibited or restricted by law.

SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: “2025 Woodford Reserve & Old Forester Kentucky Derby® Sweepstakes” starts on February 24, 2025, at 12:00am ET and ends on April 4, 2025 at 11:59pm ET (“Sweepstakes Period”).

HOW TO ENTER:

You may enter by going to https://www.woodfordreserve.com/wr-of-kentucky-derby-sweeps-2025/ ‎and completing and submitting the online form found there. Limit one entry per day, per person.

All entries must be received on or before April 4, 2025 at 11:59pm ET.

ELIGIBILITY: Employees of Brown-Forman, their affiliates, as well as the advertising/ promotion agency, Churchill Downs Racetrack, LLC (“Churchill Downs”) and the immediate families and household members of each are not eligible to win. Holders of wholesale or retail licenses are not eligible. You must be at least 21 years of age and a legal resident of the United States, residing in Kentucky.

DRAWING: Prize winner(s) will be selected in random drawing(s) from among all timely received eligible entries. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Drawing will be conducted on or about April 5, 2025.

PRIZES:

There will be one (1) prize awarded:

The prize consists of two (2) First Turn tickets to the 2025 Kentucky Derby®. Approximate retail value of the prize is $3,100 (Three Thousand One Hundred Dollars and zero cents). Beverage alcohol is not part of any prize. Tickets are subject to Terms and Conditions stated thereon, this includes a prohibition on the re-sale of tickets. Venue restrictions may also apply. Sponsor (as defined below) and Churchill Downs may eject winner and/or guest from venue if winner and/or guest behave in an inappropriate, belligerent or unruly manner as determined by Sponsor and/or Churchill Downs in their sole discretion; and, under such circumstances, Sponsor and Churchill Downs shall NOT have any liability or obligation of any kind. All federal, state and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of prize winner. No substitution or transfer of prizes permitted. Non-cash prizes cannot be redeemed for cash value. Limit one prize per winner. A 1099 will be issued for tax purposes.

NOTICE: Potential Winner(s) will be notified on or after April 7, 2025. Potential winners will have Five (5) days from date of notice (“Designated Period”) to accept the prize. If a winner does not accept the prize within the Designated Period, he/she may forfeit the prize and alternate winner(s) may be selected. Alternate winner(s) may have a varying time to accept the prize(s).

Brown-Forman/Woodford Reserve/Old Forester (hereinafter “Brand” and/or “Sponsor”), Churchill Downs and participating promotional companies are not in any way liable for damage, loss or injury resulting from computer malfunctions, misdirected or incomplete entries or acceptance and use of the prize. Brown-Forman/Brand reserves the right in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this sweepstakes should viruses, bugs or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the sweepstakes. Brown-Forman/Brand reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate or suspend the sweepstakes. Brown-Forman/Brand assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries.

CAUTION: Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such attempt. Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent of the law.

CLAIMING PRIZES/RELEASE: Potential winner(s) may be required to provide a mailing address to receive prize or prize information. Potential Winner(s) will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release. Any guest of winner must be at least 21 years of age and may be required to sign a similar affidavit.

By participating, entrants: (a) indemnify, release and agree to hold harmless Sponsor, Churchill Downs, promotional agencies, franchisees, and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, successors, assigns, agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders, employees and their affiliated companies and licensed alcohol wholesalers and retailers from any all liability claims, action or proceedings arising out of or for injuries or damages sustained from participating in the sweepstakes, while involved in a promotion- or sweepstakes-related activity, or and/or the acceptance, receipt, possession or use/misuse of the prize (as applicable); as well as (b) consents to the use by Brown-Forman/Woodford Reserve/Old Forester for promotional and advertising purposes in connection with this promotion and general use of the images submitted with entries, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice without further compensation. Proof of identification and age verification will be required. Any traveling companion of the winner(s) must be at least 21 years of age and may also be required to sign a similar release. Without limiting the foregoing, Sponsor and Churchill Downs make no representation, warranty or guarantee of any kind regarding the prize; this includes but is not limited to the warranty of merchantability or fitness for intended purpose.

PRIVACY: Except as otherwise contemplated in these Official Rules, your contact information and any other information submitted by you, or collected by Brown-Forman, in connection with this sweepstakes will be used in accordance with the Brown-Forman’s privacy policy (https://legal.brown-forman.com/privacy-policy/english).

WINNER’S LIST: For the name of the prize winner(s), send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Red Moon Marketing, Attn: “2025 Woodford Reserve & Old Forester Kentucky Derby® Sweepstakes” Winners List, 7804 Fairview Road, Box #309, Charlotte, NC 28226, before April 30, 2025. Do not send entries to this address.
