Woodford Reserve & Chef JJ’s “Simple Art of Rice” Launch Party Sweepstakes

Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. You must be at least 21 years of age and a legal resident of the United States of America, residing in California. Sweepstakes void where prohibited or restricted by law.

SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: Woodford Reserve & Chef JJ’s “Simple Art of Rice” Launch Party sweepstakes starts on October 11, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. PST ends on October 18, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. PST (“Sweepstakes Period”).

HOW TO ENTER: Enter by going to woodfordreserve.com/ChefJJ and completing and submitting the online form found there.

Limit one entry per day, per person.

All entries must be received on or before October 18 2023 at 11:59 p.m. PST.

ELIGIBILITY: Employees of Brown-Forman, their affiliates, as well as the advertising/

promotion agency, and the immediate families and household members of each are not eligible to win. Holders of wholesale or retail licenses are not eligible. You must be at least 21 years of age and a legal resident of the United States, residing in California.

DRAWING: Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all timely received eligible entries. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Drawing will be conducted on or about October 19, 2023.

PRIZES:

There will be Two (2) Prizes awarded:

Each prize consists of an invitation for (2) guests to the Chef JJ’s “Simple Art of Rice” Launch Party taking place on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 in Los Angeles, CA. (Location will be disclosed to winners on Friday, October 20, 2023)
Custom Woodford Reserve cocktail kit and signed Simple Art of Rice cookbook. Estimated retail value is $250.
The invitation will be sent to each winner by email and the additional materials will be mailed to the winners.

Beverage alcohol is not part of the sweepstakes prize. All federal, state and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of prize winners. No substitution or transfer of prizes permitted. Non-cash prizes cannot be redeemed for cash value. Limit one prize per winner. The winner(s) will be notified by a Text Message, phone and/or email. Winner must be at least 21 years of age and a legal resident of the United States, residing in California. Unclaimed prizes may not be awarded.

NOTICE: Potential Winner(s) will be notified on or after October 19, 2023. Potential winners will have 48 hours from date of notice (“Designated Period”) to accept the prize. If a winner does not accept the prize within the Designated Period, he/she may forfeit the prize and alternate winner(s) may be selected. Alternate winner(s) may have a varying time to accept the prize(s).

Brown-Forman/Woodford Reserve and participating promotional companies are not in any way liable for damage, loss or injury resulting from computer malfunctions, misdirected or incomplete entries or acceptance and use of the prize. Brown-Forman/Woodford Reserve reserves the right in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this sweepstakes should virus, bugs or other causes beyond the control of sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the sweepstakes. Brown-Forman/Woodford Reserve reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate or suspend the sweepstakes. Brown-Forman/Woodford Reserve assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries.

CAUTION: Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the game is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such attempt. Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent of the law.

CLAIMING PRIZES/RELEASE: Potential Winner(s) will be notified by phone/text/email. Potential Winner(s) may need to provide mailing address information for delivery of the prize. Winners may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release. If it is not returned within the allotted time, winner will forfeit prize and an alternate may be drawn. Potential Winner(s) will be notified by phone/text/email. Potential Winner(s) may need to provide mailing address information for delivery of the prize.

By accepting his or her prize, the winner: (a) releases Brown-Forman/Woodford Reserve and their affiliated companies and licensed alcohol wholesalers and retailers from any all liability claims, action or proceedings arising out of or for injuries or damages sustained while involved in a promotion activity or connection with the use of the prizes; as well as (b) consents to the use by Brown-Forman/Woodford Reserve for promotional and advertising purposes in connection with this promotion and general use of the images submitted with entries, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice without further compensation. Proof of identification and age verification will be required. Guests of winner must be at least 21 years of age and may also be required to sign a similar release.

PRIVACY: Except as otherwise contemplated in these Official Rules, your contact information and any other information submitted by you, or collected by Brown-Forman, in connection with this sweepstakes will be used in accordance with the Brown-Forman’s privacy policy (https://legal.brown-forman.com/privacy-policy/english).

Do not send entries to this address.
