Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. You must be at least 21 years of age and a legal resident of the United States, residing in California. Sweepstakes void elsewhere and wherever prohibited or restricted by law.

SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: Korbel x LAFC 2023 Sweepstakes starts on June 1, 2023 at 12:01 am ET and ends on August 15, 2023 at 11:59 pm ET (“Sweepstakes Period”).

HOW TO ENTER: Enter by visiting korbel.com/lafc-sweepstakes and completing and submitting the online form found there. You must be at least 21 years of age to enter. The information consumers provide will only be used for participation in the Korbel x LAFC 2023 Sweepstakes and for any future communications, should you opt in. Limit one entry per day, per person.

All entries must be received on or before August 15, 2023, at 11:59 pm ET.

ELIGIBILITY: Employees of Brown-Forman, their affiliates, as well as the advertising/ promotion agency, and the immediate families and household members of each are not eligible to win. Holders of wholesale or retail licenses are not eligible. You must be at least 21 years of age and a legal resident of the United States, residing in California to participate.

DRAWING: Prize winner(s) will be selected in a random drawing from among all timely received eligible entries. There will be one (1) drawing, with three (3) winners selected on or about August 16, 2023. The winner(s) will be notified by text message and/or phone and/or email by Redmoon Markerting, on or about August 16, 2023. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential Winner(s) will have two (2) days from date of notification to respond to the notice affirming acceptance of the prize. Last name(s) for the custom jerseys and mailing addresses must be provided to the Redmoon Marketing within five (5) to seven (7) business days of initial contact. If a potential grand prize winner cannot attend the game on date specified, he/she must forfeit the prize and an alternate winner may be selected. Unclaimed prizes may not be awarded. If your Entry is a winner, you will be deemed the potential winner of a prize, pending confirmation and/or verification of your eligibility. Non winners will roll over to the next draw period. Potential winner of any drawing is not eligible to win in any other drawing.

PRIZES: There will be three (3) prizes awarded at the conclusion of the sweepstakes. The second and third runner up prize consists of two (2) custom LAFC jerseys with winner’s name (as provided by the winner). There will be one (1) Grand Prize awarded which consists of four (4) tickets for the October 1, 2023 LAFC home game located in the North Terrace of the Banc of California Stadium, 3939 S Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90037 (ARV of each ticket is $200.00). And four (4) custom LAFC jerseys with customized names, (ARV of each jersey is $130). Approximate retail value of Grand Prize is $1,320. Transportation is not part of the Prize(s) or the Grand Prize. All costs and expenses associated with Prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided, including but not limited to lodging accommodations, any transportation costs, luggage fees, meals, gratuities and other expenses incurred by accepting the Prize are the sole responsibility of each Winner. Limit one prize per winner. All guests of grand prize winner must be at least 21 years of age.

Brown-Forman/Korbel (“hereinafter “Brand”) and participating promotional companies are not in any way liable for damage, loss or injury resulting from computer malfunctions, misdirected or incomplete entries or acceptance and use of the prize. Brown-Forman/Brand reserves the right in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this sweepstakes should virus, bugs or other causes beyond the control of sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the sweepstakes. Brown-Forman/Brand reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate or suspend the sweepstakes. Brown-Forman/Brand assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Entry to the Korbel LAFC Sweepstakes is subject to certain terms and conditions as specified by the Sponsor. The Grand Prize Winner and his/her guest agree to comply with all applicable event venue, as applicable, regulations in connection with the Prize. Sponsor and venue reserve the right to remove or to deny entry to the Grand Prize Winner and/or his/her guest(s) who engage(s) in a disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at the game. Released Parties (defined below) will not be responsible for weather conditions, Acts of God, acts of terrorism, civil disturbances, work stoppage, disease, pandemic or any other natural disaster outside their control that may cause the cancellation or postponement of the game. Should the game be cancelled or postponed for any reason, the sponsor will not offer an alternative prize. MLS game, event, and exhibition dates and times are determined in the sole discretion of MLS and/or the applicable MLS team, as applicable, and may be subject to change. Exact seat locations will be determined by Sponsor. The terms and conditions of the tickets awarded as prizes will govern in the event a game, event or exhibition, as defined by MLS, is not played due to weather, an Act of God, an act of terrorism, civil disturbance, work stoppage or any other reason. By accepting his or her prize, the Potential Winner: (a) agrees to release, defend, indemnify and hold harmless Brown-Forman/Korbel, LAFC, Major League Soccer, and Soccer United Marketing from any all liability claims, action or proceedings arising out of or for injuries or damages sustained while involved in a promotion activity or connection with the use of the prizes; as well as (b) consents to the use by Brown-Forman for promotional and advertising purposes in connection with this promotion and general use of the images submitted with entries, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice without further compensation. Each potential winner may be required to submit an affidavit of eligibility / release of liability / prize acceptance agreement (collectively, the “Affidavit”) and return the Affidavit within the time period specified at notification before being eligible to receive his or her prize. Guests of winner may be required to sign a similar release.

Beverage alcohol is not a part of any of the sweepstakes prize. All Federal state and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of prize winner. No substitution or transfer of prizes permitted. Non-cash prizes cannot be redeemed for cash value. A 1099 will be issued to the Grand Prize Winner.

CAUTION: Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the game is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such attempt. Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent of the law.

CLAIMING PRIZES/RELEASE: Potential winner(s) may be required to provide a mailing address to receive prize or prize information. Potential Winner(s) may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release. Any guest of winner must be at least 21 years of age and may be required to sign a similar release.

By accepting his or her prize(s), the winner(s): (a) releases Brown-Forman/Brand and their affiliated companies and licensed alcohol wholesalers and retailers from any all liability claims, action or proceedings arising out of or for injuries or damages sustained while involved in a promotion activity or connection with the use of the prizes; as well as (b) consents to the use by Brown-Forman/Brand for promotional and advertising purposes in connection with this promotion and general use of the images submitted with entries, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice without further compensation. Proof of identification and age verification will be required.

WINNERS’ LIST: For the name of the prize winner(s), send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Red Moon Marketing, Korbel LAFC Sweepstakes Winners’ List, 7804 Fairview Road, Box #309, Charlotte, NC 28226 before August 30, 2023. Do not send entries to the address.

PRIVACY: Except as otherwise contemplated in these Official Rules, your contact information and any other information submitted by you, or collected by Brown-Forman, in connection with this Event will be used in accordance with the Brown-Forman’s privacy policy (https://legal.brown-forman.com/privacy-policy/english).
