Bartender Contest Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. You must be at least 21 years of age, able to prove that you are currently employed as a bartender and a legal resident of the United States, residing in New York to participate. Contest void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.

CONTEST PERIOD: Contest begins September 9, 2025 - October 2, 2025. Entry deadline: October 2nd, 2025 at 11:59 pm (ET).

HOW TO ENTER: You must be at least 21 years of age to participate. To enter click on https://www.jackdaniels.com/en-us/jackbackstageNY and follow the link to complete and submit your entry. Your recipe can include Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey or Jack Daniel’s Bonded Series. Your explanation must not contain information that would be considered illegal according to state laws, may not mention any bar/restaurant or retail establishment, may not be harmful to the Jack Daniel’s brand, or mention any other alcoholic beverage brands. Furthermore, an entry must be in good taste in the sole opinion of Sponsor. An entry that does not meet the above criteria will not be eligible. Only yourself may be featured in the entry.

Limit one entry per person regardless of method of entry.

JUDGING: Prize winners will be selected based on the following criteria:

Quality of Recipe 50%
Originality and creativity in the explanation 50%

Judging is in the sole discretion of Jack Daniel’s and a panel of judges selected by Jack Daniel’s.

Judging will be conducted/concluded on or about September 19th, 2025 and winners will be notified via email or telephone and must be currently employed as a bartender. You must verify your age prior to submission. If you do not verify your age prior to submission you will forfeit the entry/prize and an alternate winner may be selected.

By entering the Contest, entrants accept and agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of Brown-Forman/Jack Daniel’s. Brown-Forman/Jack Daniel’s, their participating promotional companies, any and their respective affiliates, directors, officers, employees, parents, subsidiaries (collectively the “Released Parties”), will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind including without limitation, death to persons or property damage resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession use or misuse of any prize or participation in the Contest. Furthermore, the Released Parties are not in any way liable for damage, loss or injury resulting from computer malfunctions, misdirected or incomplete entries or acceptance and use of the prize. Brown-Forman/Jack Daniel’s reserves the right in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this contest should viruses, bugs or other causes beyond the control of sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the contest. Brown-Forman/Jack Daniel’s reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate or suspend the contest. Brown-Forman/Jack Daniel’s assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries.

CAUTION: Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such attempt. Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent of the law.

ELIGIBILITY: Employees of Brown-Forman, their affiliates, as well as their advertising/promotion agencies, and the immediate families and household members of each are not eligible to win. Holders of wholesale or retail licenses are not eligible. You must be at least 21 years of age and a legal resident of the United States, residing in New York to be eligible.

PRIZE:

There will be twenty-two (22) prizes awarded maximum, 11 spots per trip:

October 22-24, 2025

October 27-29, 2025

Prize Trip consists of a trip for the winner to Lynchburg, Tennessee on the dates specified above, including roundtrip coach class airfare for winner from commercial airport closest to winner’s home to Nashville, TN, ground transportation to/from Lynchburg, Tennessee, lodging accommodations for two (2) nights in a camper for a Jack Daniel’s brand education experience (ARV $975 USD based on sample NY, NY departure). The ARV may vary based on airfare fluctuations and distance between departure point and destination. Winner will not receive a difference between actual and ARV.

Alcohol is not part of any prize. Limit one (1) prize per person. Taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. A 1099 will be issued. If the winner cannot travel on dates specified (he/she must forfeit the prize and an alternate winner may be selected. An alternate potential winner may have a shorter time to respond. Unclaimed prizes may not be awarded.

Jack Daniel’s or their designated agent will determine airline and flight itinerary in its sole discretion. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules, and those set forth by the airline carrier as detailed in the passenger ticket contract. Jack Daniel’s is not responsible if the scheduled flight is delayed, postponed or canceled for any reason and the winner will not be reimbursed for tickets. All expenses, ground transportation, and other costs not expressly stated in the prize description above are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners from the United States must possess government issued photo ID acceptable for domestic travel in the U.S. Restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply. Winner must comply with all hotel requirements, including without limitation providing a valid major credit card to the hotel upon check-in. No responsibility is assumed by Jack Daniel’s for any factor beyond their reasonable control, or for canceled, delayed flights for any reason whatsoever. Lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, vouchers or certificates will not be replaced. Jack Daniel’s is not responsible if the winner does not use tickets or vouchers on date(s) for which they are issued.

No substitution, exchange or transfer of prize by the winner. Jack Daniel’s reserves the right to substitute any prize for one of equal or greater value. By accepting the Prize, the winner agrees to abide by any terms, conditions and restrictions relating to the Prize elements.

The odds of winning are based on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

NOTIFICATION: Potential Winner will be notified on or about September 22nd, 2025, by phone or email. Potential winners will have forty-eight (48) hours to respond and accept the prize. In the event the winner does not respond/accept the prize he/she forfeits the prize and an alternate winner may be selected.

CLAIMING PRIZES/RELEASE: Winners will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release. By accepting his or her prize, the winner: (a) releases Brown-Forman/Jack Daniel’s and their affiliated companies and licensed alcohol wholesalers and retailers from any all liability claims, action or proceedings arising out of or for injuries or damages sustained while involved in a promotion activity or connection with the use of the prizes; as well as (b) consents to the use by Brown-Forman/Jack Daniel’s for promotional and advertising purposes in connection with this promotion and general use of the images submitted with entries, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice without further compensation. Proof of identification and age verification will be required.

Any information entrants provide during the course of claiming a prize will only be used for administration of the Contest and for purposes of Prize fulfillment. By entering this Contest, entrants consent to such collection, use and disclosure of information.

PRIVACY: Except as otherwise contemplated in these Official Rules, your contact information and any other information submitted by you, or collected by Brown-Forman, in connection with this sweepstakes will be used in accordance with the Brown-Forman’s privacy policy (https://legal.brown-forman.com/privacy-policy/english).

WINNERS’ LIST: For the name of the prize winner(s), send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Red Moon Marketing, Jack Daniel’s Backstage Contest / New York Winners’ List, 7804 Fairview Road, Box #309, Charlotte, NC 28226 before October 6th, 2025. Do not send entries to the address.

Photo Guidelines

1. All photo subjects to be 21 years of age or older.

2. No photo subjects to appear drunk.

3. No photo subjects to appear smoking.

4. No photo subjects to appear drinking or pretending to drink in an irresponsible manner (e.g., from a bottle).

5. No photo subjects to appear drinking another brand (including identifiable beer brands or if you can tell from the bottle).

6. No photo subjects to appear who are wearing easily identifiable clothing logos.

7. No photo subjects to appear making obscene gestures or simulating sexual activity.

8. No photo to feature swear words.

9. No excessive nudity or near-nudity.

10. No photo to feature any reference to illegal drugs.

11. Any photo submitted is your original work or one to which you have ownership rights/copyright.
